Crispy Garlic and Jalapeno Brown Jazzmen Rice

Are you looking for tasty ways to eat healthier? Try this as a side or eat it for a meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 ½ tablespoons garlic minced

  • 4 tablespoons butter unsalted

  • 2 cups Jazzmen Brown Rice (raw)

  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 1/2 teaspoon creole seasoning

  • 3.5 oz bag Crispy Jalapenos


Instructions

  • Add butter and garlic to rice cooking vessel. Cook for 1 ½ minutes or until the garlic turns golden brown and the butter is well infused with garlic flavor.

  • Add Jazzmen rice and stir until coated with the garlic butter.

  • Add broth, place lid on saucepan. Bring to simmer then immediately turn down to medium low.

  • Cook for 30 – 45 minutes or until liquid is all absorbed by the rice.

  • Remove from stove and allow to rest for 10 minutes.

  • Stir in crispy jalapenos.
